Eight years after the 1940 premiere of the Concerto, Columbia Records released its first set of three 78-rpm vinyl records. Soloist is Professor Regino Sainz de la Maza, Ataulfo Argenta conducts the Orchestra Nacional de España. This set of records is hard to find now. In 2011, the San Francisco-based Chanterelle Records released this remastered CD.
